Taking Accelerated Reader Quizzes at Home

This email pertains to parents with children in Grades 1 - 8

 

Dear parents,

Some students and parents have told let me that they aren't able to access Accelerated Reader quizzes at home.  I contacted Renaissance Learning about this problem.  They prefer to not allow students to be able to take quizzes at home, because it is often easier to monitor students and remove distractions at school.  That being said, I was able to figure out a way to allow at-home access (I hope).  If you are prompted for a monitor password enter: Easter

In the near future when we have Internet-accessible computers in the classrooms, we may not allow at home access.  Currently though, at home access is the only options.
